Free PC virus scans

My ISP sent me a list of some free online based virus scanners for your PC. For those who can't afford a subscription to Norton Anti-Virus, or other decent malware protection programs.

On my list of recommended free Windows software, I have AVG as an acceptable and free anti-virus program. I want to add the following services to that list.

• Symantec Security Check [These guys make Norton Anti-virus!!!]
• BitDefender [Can only use with MS Internet Explorer because of ActiveX]
• Trend Micro Housecall
• Panda Software Activescan

So add this to your periodic PC maintenance schedule.
